Shoppers have been baffled by a change in milk bottle tops. People buying milk from Waitrose, Aldi or Sainsbury's have been confused by coloured lids being changed to clear tops.
One Waitrose shopper said on twitter: "As if we haven’t got enough to worry about right now with energy costs/rising inflation, @waitrose decides to make all milk tops the SAME causing CHAOS when selecting correct bottle from fridge. WHAT FRESH HELL IS THIS?! #crucialissues."
Another shopper messaged Aldi, LiverpoolEcho reports: "@AldiUK who on Earth thought it was a good idea to make the plastic milk tops clear?? Just spent 25 mins looking for it! It was already on!"
