Aldi is set to trial a change to its semi-skimmed milk, which could be rolled out across all of its UK stores if successful.
The supermarket has issued a message to customers that drink semi-skimmed milk, letting them know that the milk bottle may look a little different. Aldi is planning to replace the well-known green lid with a clear one in order to increase recyclability.
This clear caps, while minor, will help with recycling as the green bottle tops on its British Semi Skimmed Standard Milk is more difficult to repurpose. The change is set to be trialled in select stores over the coming weeks, reports the Manchester Evening News.
