Scores of pet owners are full of praise for Aldi’s £7.99 pet accessory that has transformed their post-walk clean-ups. The supermarket’s pet special buys have returned this week to high praise for its pet beds, treats and accessories, including this dryer.
The Pet Collection Drying Glove is described as a “very absorbent glove that easily soaks up excess moisture to help your dog’s coat dry more quickly”. Aldi adds that it’s “just the thing you need to dry off after long muddy walks or after the dreaded B-A-T-H”.
Available at just £7.99, scores of reviewers are sharing how it has become an accessory they cannot live without. The positive reviews for the product just keep piling up.

The product is very similar to an oven glove with sections for hands at either end and is made from soft towel and noodle materials that absorb water quickly. It currently boasts a 4.8-star rating on Aldi’s website with mostly five-star reviews praising its quality and simplicity.
The top review says “This is amazing, the dogs love being rubbed down with this and the fight to get in there first!”
Another happy shopper says: “I bought these for my Lab pup who loves water and when we give them a rub with this, they dry so quickly! We bought three more so we are well stocked.”
One happy shopper with a mucky pup said that the glove made a huge difference for them. “This makes drying off the dogs so much easier. I have arthritis and these gloves make it super easy to dry bellies, legs and paws, unlike the bulk of a towel.
They added: “Dogs love it and fight for their turn to dry off. I couldn’t live without it.”
It isn’t just dogs that can feel the benefit either as many reviewers have said the glove works just as well on their cats too. “I didn’t think this would be very good but actually it’s amazing at drying my cat on her way indoors out of the rain. I’m really pleased with this product and it washes really well, too!”
The drying glove is part of the pet special buys event available in-store and online but only for a limited time and until stocks last. It is not the first time that the glove has been sold though, as it has appeared in previous special buy events, so if you miss it this time around, then there’s a high chance it will make a return sooner or later.
