Aldi has announced a new range of candle 'dupes' set to arrive in-store this week - and they're over £50 cheaper than a designer brand.
The budget supermarket is no stranger to stocking products that are similar to premium brands, as fans of Jo Malone and the White Company have previously spotted Aldi's budget alternatives.
Now, the German grocer is taking aim at luxury company Diptyque with a new range of summer candles that are set to arrive in-stores as part of its Specialbuys range tomorrow, June 22.
The Fruit and Flower range will be part of Aldi's home fragrance collection while stocks last. There will be three scents including Blackberry Mint, Orange Blossom, and Peony Rose scents, reports YorkshireLive.
Priced at just £3.49 each, these floral-fragranced candles are significantly cheaper than the luxury brand that can retail at £56 - meaning Aldi shoppers are saving £52.51 for similar scents.
Aldi says of its candles: "Aldi says: "For less than £4, these must-have fragrances are set to fly off shelves and into the heart of homes without blow-ing the budget. Inspired by the well-known scents of Diptyque, these cost-effective alternatives will save customers a whopping 94% compared to the pricier cult classic collection."
"Fused with natural essential oils, these home decor must-haves help create a relaxing atmosphere in any room. Whether shoppers are looking to unwind after a long day, or simply want to add a touch of elegance, these candles are sure to impress."
