With yet another heatwave impending for the August bank holiday weekend, many are finding that their skin is suffering as a result of the soaring temperatures. And in the midst of a hot day, there is nothing nicer than slathering on moisturiser to cool the skin.
But did you know that putting your moisturiser in the fridge has more than just skin soothing benefits? It can actually help keep your skincare products fresh, too!
Now, budget supermarket Aldi has launched a mini fridge for beauty lovers to keep their skincare and makeup products cool, helping them maintain freshness and provide incredible skincare results.

The four litre Skincare and Beauty Fridge is from the brand Stylpro, who’s electronic makeup brush cleaning devices are also sold at Aldi, and is priced at £39.99.
Aldi said: “Keep your products at the optimum temperature with this 4 Litre Skincare and Beauty Fridge. You'll be able to maintain serums, sun creams and nail polish for optimum freshness.”
Using a beauty fridge is said to ‘prevent the build up of bacterial growth’ and will preserve the ingredients in your products. With a dual temperature mode, you'll also be able to warm up heat packs with this fridge. The rose gold detailing looks super cute, too.
The mini fridge is a handy table top size, and keeps all of your favourite products chilled, which can help reduce redness and puffiness in the skin - ideal for those suffering during hayfever season.
The electronic device cools contents up to 20°C below room temperature to prevent bacterial growth on products and prevent them from spoiling.
The exact same beauty fridge is £15 more expensive at other retailers, costing £54.99 Look Fantastic, ASOS and Feel Unique , and £55 at Next.
The Stylpro Skincare and Beauty Fridge is available to pre-order on the Aldi website now for £39.99, with an estimated dispatch date of August 28. What’s more is that shoppers can bag free delivery on orders over £30, so you won’t need to pay for shipping either.
The Aldi website states that more than 50 of these fridges have been sold already today (Monday, August 22), so you’ll have to be quick as with all Aldi Specialbuys - once they’re gone, they’re gone!
