Aldi has issued an apology to customers after some of its Specialbuys were delayed - including new mum products and car touch up kits. The budget retailer has blamed global shipping disruptions for the issue.
The German supermarket is best known for their middle aisle Specialbuys, but the delay means that a dozen items may not hit stores for days. One product has even been cancelled altogether.
In an apology to customers, Aldi said they’re doing ‘all we can’ to provide updates on the items missing from the middle aisle, from mood changing octopuses to stretch mark soother oil.

Aldi said: “Due to the current disruptions to global shipping, a number of Specialbuys may be delayed. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We're doing all we can to provide clarity on expected availability dates, but these are subject to change. Dates will vary by store and by region.”
