Aldi in trouble with parents over popular 55p baby wipes

A pack of Mamia baby wipes has landed Aldi in trouble with parents.

Mums and dads have criticised the budget supermarket after it stopped making its 64 packs of wipes, and replaced them with packs of 60. Aldi said it has discontinued the packs of 64 Mamia baby wipes as they had plastic, and is instead selling 60 packs of biodegradable wipes.

Mamia 60 packs of biodegradable baby wipes cost 55p a pack, reports the MEN, while the 64 packs of Mamia wipes cost 62p per pack. The reduction of four wipes per pack may seem miniscule to some, but given the cost of living crisis we are currently experiencing, parents claim it's making a big difference.
