After a weekend of hot weather, and with temperatures forecast to rise to a sweltering 24C next weekend, beauty buffs are heaping praise on a 95p Aldi body lotion that keeps skin 'hydrated' and gives a 'natural glow' in the sun. Bottles of Aldi's Lacura Body Lotion With Pure Cocoa Butter, usually cost £1, but have been reduced to 95p.
On its website, Aldi says its Lacura beauty range is "designed to help you look and feel amazing for less. From rejuvenating skincare creams and serums, to moisturising shampoos and conditioners, it’s time to take care of you. Find out how to upgrade your day and night beauty regimes, without blowing your budget."
The 440ml bottles of Lacura Body Lotion With Pure Cocoa Butter are currently out of stock on the Aldi website. However, they may still be available in stores, depending on stock levels.
On Facebook, beauty buff Natalie Dawson told fellow Aldi fans: "Body lotion from Aldi! 95p and smells and makes you feel just as good as the original one, a lot cheaper to!" The skincare product is on sale for less than £1 at 95p and claims to "restore dry skin for a natural glow".
Many people rushed to comment on Natalie's post, eager to get a bottle of the stuff themselves. Hayley Alsop replied: "Brought this yesterday I agree xx." Maria Humphries wrote: "Yes I’ve used this it’s fab."
Sharon Wilson added: "Amazing lotion and the aloe one is just as great as an after sun." Hannah Scott said: "Had this for ages it smells amazing really thick as well." Catherine Annee gushed: "I've got this and omg I love it."
Charlotte Ely said: "I've used this for long time it's very good. As are the face creams." Elizabeth Burrows agreed: "This is lovely and great scent."
Some even went on to say how they find the lotion to be just as good, or better, than some high-street versions. Leeann Bruce claimed: "It's now better than Vaseline. My daughter uses it on her face. She used to have acne but since using this her skins gorgeous so seems a perfect all-rounder..
