Aldi shoppers are going wild over the supermarket’s latest Specialbuy that’s said to be a dupe of a celebrity-loved £45 Laura Mercier product. The £6 affordable Aldi bath product is finally back online after selling out twice already this year.
The Lacura Vanilla Honey Golden Bath Nectar comes in at £5.99, and sold out faster than any other Lacura beauty line ever has after it was introduced at the start of the year.
The best-seller has been out of stock since May - but beauty lovers can finally get their hands on the ‘gorgeous’ bath buy once again.
The Laura Mercier version has been praised by shoppers and celebrities alike, including former Love Islander Molly-Mae Hague. The product has frequently been spotted in pictures of her bathtub in the home she shares with Tommy Fury.
Aldi’s version is £39 cheaper than the luxury brand and customers have raved about the ‘amazing’ dupe online, saying it creates even more bubbles than the expensive brand. Manchester Evening News once tried it out for ourselves, and were pretty impressed with the ‘luxurious’ product, so we’ll be first in line to pre-order it on the Aldi website.
Leaving a five star review on the product listing, Sarah B said: “Absolutely gorgeous, very similar to the Laura Mercia one.”
JedwardsJarro99 added: “Amazing dupe for Honey Bath by LM. Smells lovely packaging is very nearly identical and actually bubbles more in the bath than the real thing!”
“Lovely product have had before but sells out fast,” Freedy pops wrote. “Yes the LM is pricey but this is very good for the price, nice to try something different at bath time.”
LB94 added: “I bought this after seeing it all over TikTok, it smells amazing and foams up really well. And saves you £40 compared to other brands.”
Lacura’s Vanilla Honey Golden Bath Nectar offers calming scents of vanilla and honey. The pot of golden, shimmery bath cream also comes with a wooden honey dipper that you can run under the tap to create a mound of bubbles to sink into.
