This week was Great British Bake Off’s ‘bread week’, which saw the remaining contestants make their own pizza before tackling a technical pastry. Many of us watch the much loved Channel 4 show and think we could get ourselves a Hollywood handshake in the tent, and Aldi are selling a ‘fantastic’ Specialbuy that could lend a hand in your rise to Star Baker.
Those who would love guests to walk into their home to the smell of freshly baked bread can make their doughy dreams come true with the Ambiano bread maker , which shoppers say is very easy to use.
In fact, some have said it’s just as good as high end brands like Tefal whose model is twice the price, costing £102 at Curry’s.
Costing £49.99, the digital bread maker has 19 pre-set menus that will see you become a dough pro in no time. Aldi said: “You can prepare everything from rye to French bread to sweet pastries and even fruit loaves with this fantastic Ambiano Bread Maker 550W’.
In the glowing five-star reviews, other shoppers say they’ve even made jam in the machine, while others ‘haven’t stopped making bread’.
Described as ‘easy to use’ the bread maker has a display panel with the option of three loaf sizes, ideal for solo homeowners or whole families. Not only that, but baking your own bread is often cheaper than supermarket prices, so the machine will pay for itself in the long run.
As well as the machine, the box includes a measuring cup and spoon, bread pan, kneading paddle and hook - everything you need to start your bread baking empire. The machine offers a 15-hour timer and 60 minute ‘keep warm’ function, with a viewing window so you can keep a close eye on your bake.
The bread maker has racked up 73 five star reviews, with many saying it’s better than others they’ve used.
Teig62said: “Having had a Tefal bread maker in the past I wasn’t expecting much from this machine as it was a quarter of the price, however it has proved me wrong and it works very well.”
Janice added: “Having previously owned several different kinds of bread makers, this is the first one that made delicious, perfect bread the first time used, without having to tweak the given recipe or experiment to get it right. Would definitely recommend it as very easy to use and great value for money.”
“Surprised at how many uses this machine can do,” said JanJan. “Not only bread but you can make jam! Well worth the money.” and Mouse wrote: “I have not stopped making bread, the loaf's are small, but just perfect.”
