Two popular supermarkets have recalled popular products from their shelves due to a number of allergy and safety concerns.
Tesco is recalling its Creamfields Grated Cheddar due to the fear that there are small pieces of plastic within the cheese. Aldi is recalling their Harvest Morn High Protein Bars because certain allergens may not be emphasised on the label.
These two product recalls are part of Food Standards Agency's newest food and allergy alerts, which occur throughout each month. Here is all you need to know about the products and what to do if you have bought them.

Aldi Harvest Morn High Protein Bars
Aldi is recalling various Harvest Morn High Protein Bars because they contain milk and/or peanuts and/or soya which may not be emphasised in bold type on the label.
This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents, an allergy to peanuts and/or an allergy to soya.
There are a variety of these bars in different flavours. The product details for each one are listed below:

Aldi is recalling the above product from customers and has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.
The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. This notice explains to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products.
The notice reads: "As a precautionary measure, our supplier is recalling Harvest Morn High Protein Bars because allergens in the ingredient list may not be emphasised in bold on the label. Customers are asked to return this product to their nearest store, where a full refund will be given.
"Customer services can be contacted on 0800 042 0800."
Tesco Creamfields Grated Cheddar
Tesco is recalling Tesco Creamfields Grated Cheddar because it may contain small pieces of plastic, making it unsafe to eat.
The product details are as follows:

- Pack size: 500 grams
- Best before: March 23, 2023
Tesco has also issued a recall notice to its customers, explaining why the product is being recalled and telling shoppers what to do if they have bought the product.
The notice reads: "Please do not consume this product and instead return any affected product to store where a full refund will be given. No receipt is required.
"Tesco apologises to our customers for any inconvenience caused. If you require further details, please contact Customer Services directly on: 0800 505 555."
