Aldi and Tesco issue urgent warning to anyone who buys fruit and veg

Two supermarket giants - Aldi and Tesco - have both sent out an urgent warning to people who have bought their fruit and veg.

The retailers are urging people to take extra precautions and wash any fruit and veg before consuming it, over fears it could have been contaminated by a Saharan desert dust cloud.
