Antonio Conte is working with just a small number of players whilst the majority of his squad are on international duty with their country. Tottenham are currently fifth in the Premier League, three points behind fourth placed Arsenal, who do have a game in hand.
When Spurs return from the final break of the season, they will need to get as many points as possible from their final nine games of the campaign, in order to try and secure Champions League football for next season. The Lilywhites will go into their next match against Newcastle, on the back of the 3-1 victory they got against West Ham, just before the break.
The Lilywhites have seen a number of players go out of the door permanently, in the last couple of transfer windows. Some of the outgoings are winning and thriving at their new clubs, whilst others are struggling and football.london takes a look at how the ten of them are doing with their new teams.

Toby Alderweireld
Apart from not being in the squad once, Alderweireld remained on the bench for the whole game in Al-Duhail's most recent league game, for the first time. That means the 33-year-old has now made 20 league appearances for his new side, starting in every one of those games.
The Belgian's side are still second in the Qatar Stars League, ten points ahead of third placed Al-Wakrah but 15 behind Al Sadd at the top. Even better than that is he got to experience winning silverware with his team, in the Amir Cup.
In the four games Al-Duhail had to play to win it, Alderweireld played the full match in them all, scoring one goal and registering two assists. After the victory, the defender took to Twitter to express his delight and said: "AMIR CUP WINNERS. Proud of the team @DuhailSC."
The Qatar league isn't as long as the Premier League so Alderweireld has about a month left of the season with his side, before the summer.
Moussa Sissoko and Danny Rose
As expected, Rose is still not making the Watford squad and earlier this month, manager Roy Hodgson provided an update on the 31-year-old's place at the club. "I came in and was given a list of players," he admitted.
"These are the ones we expect you to work with and Dan [Rose] was unfortunately not on that list and I was told he is training separately and is not going to be involved with the club. And I was in, and am in, no position to question that.
"I met Danny, as I know him of course, and had a brief conversation and all I could say to him was that this has got nothing to do with me, it's you and the club and this is what has been decided and this is what I'm doing so unfortunately you will have to accept the fate that has been dealt to you," Hodgson added.
Sissoko is however, still a key part of the Watford side, who are currently in the relegation zone in the league, three points behind 17th placed Everton. The 32-year-old is continuing to captain his side, scoring against both Crystal Palace and Arsenal and is consistently in Hodgson's starting XI.
Erik Lamela
Lamela has made a return for Sevilla, after a shoulder injury that required an operation that has kept him out since November last year. The Argentine played 23 minutes in his side's 0-0 draw against Real Sociedad last Sunday and will hope he can now be back to playing regular football as he was before the injury.
Lamela kept his social media updated with his return, with posts on Twitter and Instagram. Earlier this month, the 30-year-old explained what the recovery had been like for him.
"You have to be very strong and thanks to all the people I'm coming back. The first two months were difficult," he said. "I was 15 months without playing due to hip problems and that was much harder. You never have to give up and hopefully [I] will be playing again soon."
Sevilla are currently second in La Liga but nine points behind first placed Real Madrid so a league title this season is becoming more unlikely. However, Lamela will be hoping to regain his match fitness, ahead of a hopefully less injury fuelled campaign next season.
Joe Hart
Both Hart and loanee Cameron Carter-Vickers are still key parts of the Celtic side, who are top of the Scottish Premiership and three points ahead of second placed rivals, Rangers. Carter-Vickers has made 26 league appearances this season, starting in every one of those games, scoring three goals and registering an assist.
Hart has also been in the starting XI for all 28 of his league appearances this season, conceding just 15 goals and keeping 16 clean sheets. The 34-year-old was also involved in Celtic's Europa League campaign, before they were knocked out after finishing third in their group.
Juan Foyth and Serge Aurier
Foyth has been suffering with an injury in recent times and Villarreal manager Unai Emery provided an update on his problem, earlier this month. "With Foyth and Gerard, the sensations are good, but we should wait to see if we can count on them or wait to see the situation in the face of these games."
Emery gave the update ahead of their 1-0 victory over Celta de Vigo, but it wasn't until the game after that, against Cadiz, that Foyth returned to the matchday squad. Aurier was left out of the squad in the 1-0 defeat to Cadiz and was one of a number of players who were left at home.
Both players have been in and out of the squad this season, battling for positions and experiencing injury issues. Villarreal are currently seventh in La Liga and now nine points off fourth placed Atletico Madrid.
The former Tottenham duo will be hoping they can help their team in the final stretch of the season before making sure they're fully fit and strong, ahead of the next campaign.
Paulo Gazzaniga
Gazzaniga's Fulham side are currently top of the Championship and eight points ahead of second placed Bournemouth, with their hopes of promotion looking more likely as every game goes passed. However for the goalkeeper, he is still struggling for game time and hasn't made an appearance since his FA Cup feature against Man City, at the beginning of February.
Dilan Markanday
Markanday suffered his worst nightmare on his Blackburn debut, as he picked up a hamstring injury which resulted in him having to undergo surgery. His side are currently sixth in the Championship and currently two points into the play-off positions.
The 20-year-old has opened up about his injury and what he hopes for when he returns. "I was devastated. The first couple of weeks were hard. You always play through your head, what if I didn’t make that run, if I turned back and passed it, it wouldn’t have happened, but you can’t think like that," Markanday admitted.
"The first couple of weeks I was down, but when you come back into the building and people are saying positive things that helps, and that’s where I’m at. Five weeks post operation, we’re starting to build things up, build up my core, it’s about building week by week, making those marginal gains and hopefully can ramp it up more soon.
"I just wanted to play football, show what I can do and help the team but this has prevented me from being able to do that. You feel useless watching but I’ll be there to support them all the way, that’s all I can do, give them my support in the changing room and around the building," he added.
"These obstacles and hurdles will make you stronger in the long run so I have to use it as fuel and motivation for when I come back to hit the ground running and show everyone and come back a stronger and better player and more mentally strong person."
As Markanday alluded to, he will be supporting his team until he is able to help them again. Once he does return he will be hoping to really kickstart his Blackburn career and show the quality he did, whilst at Tottenham.
Dele Alli
Dele has faced some criticism since his move to Everton in the January transfer window. The 25-year-old is struggling to make an impact and find a suitable position in the Everton side so far.
Earlier this month, former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp spoke about his disappointment in the player he had encouraged Frank Lampard to sign.
"Before Frank took him, I texted Frank, and said: ‘Listen, Dele Alli, I think if you can get him going, he’s some player’. I’ve stuck up for him, I keep saying he’s a fantastic talent, but why’d you go and do that? Turning up in a Rolls Royce like that, it tells you everything about what’s gone wrong for him," Redknapp admitted on talkSPORT earlier this month, after Dele turned up to his first session with Everton in a Rolls Royce.
"Listen, I love him, love him. He’s a fantastic talent and I’m desperate to see him get back in that team and get back in the England squad because I think he can really play. But people are working all week and saving up to take their kids to football, and they don’t want to see that either. Be humble!
"He can’t be can he?" the 75-year-old added when asked if he believed Dele was working hard enough in training. "I thought he’d go in there and be great. He had such talent, I loved him, I thought he was a superstar, but he can’t get a game."
The midfielder has featured in six Premier League games for a struggling Everton side so far, including 21 minutes against Tottenham, but is yet to play 90 minutes for his new side. The Toffees are currently three points outside the relegation zone and still have some work to do to save themselves from going down.
