Before legislating to permit alcoholic drinks to be consumed in the stands at football (Report, 23 September), Andy Burnham should attend a rugby international. He will find that his view of the match is constantly interrupted by spectators coming and going to replenish their supplies and/or empty their bladders. Be careful what you wish for, Andy.
