Albion Rovers and East Kilbride will take part in the SPFL Trust Trophy first round in August, with the draw to take place on Monday afternoon.
The format for this season's competition was today confirmed, with The New Saints and Caernarfon Town from the JD Cymru Premier in Wales, and Danske Bank Premiership sides Linfield and Cliftonville from Northern Ireland taking part.
Lowland League clubs East Kilbride, Cowdenbeath, The Spartans and East Stirlingshire are also taking part, alongside Fraserburgh, Buckie Thistle, Brechin City and Brora Rangers from the Highland League.
Albion Rovers come into the first round of the competition, having finished eighth in last season's League Two table.
The draw for the first round and second round of the competition takes place at Airdrie's New Broomfield stadium on Monday, July 4, at 1pm.
First round matches will take place on the midweek of August 9/10 and the remaining seven League Two clubs and the bottom two from last season's League One will enter the second round on August 23/24.
The 10 winners from that round's matches will be joined by the other eight League One clubs, 10 from the Championship, and the four cross-border teams for the third round on September 24/25.
Round four is on December 10/11, quarter-finals on January 7/8, and semi-finals on February 4/5 or midweek of February 7/8.
The final has been pencilled in for March 25/26.
There will be a reimbursement payment of £6500 per match for any club travelling between Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
