Sturm Graz sports director Andreas Schicker has assured Celtic they have yet to make a decision on whether they will turn Albian Ajeti's loan move into a permanent one.
Reports this week suggested that the Austrian club would send the former West Ham striker back to Glasgow because he was too injury-prone. The Swiss international moved on the last day of the summer transfer window with Sturm Graz securing him on a season-long loan with an option to buy him permanently for £2.1 million.
Ajeti cost Celtic £5million in 2020 from West Ham, but he only managed to score eight league goals in two seasons and had no future under Ange Postecoglou. However, he will still have a year left on his contract if and when he returns to Scotland.
