Albian Ajeti grabbed his first goal for Sturm Graz at the weekend as he admitted that his fitness is starting to come.
The Celtic striker left Parkhead at the end of August on a season long loan deal with his new club holding the option to make the transfer permanent. The Swiss international joined the Hoops under previous boss Neil Lennon back in 2020 from West Ham but things never worked out for the hitman.
The 25-year-old ran in behind and set himself with a nice touch before firing low beyond the home goalkeeper as he grabbed the first goal in a convincing 3-0 win. He described his maiden strike as a 'great team goal' and says he is starting to get back to his best. The three points keeps them within two points of leaders RB Salzburg at the top of the table.

Ajeti and Co return to action on Thursday night in a Europa League showdown with Italian outfit Lazio before domestic matters take place next weekend against WSG Tirol.
After netting his first for the club, Ajeti told local press: “It was a great team goal, it played out very nicely. I could have done one or two more things today, but it's coming slowly.
"My legs are getting fitter. I'm happy that I was able to score the first goal for Sturm. But the three points are much more important.
“Not everything works perfectly yet. We don't understand each other perfectly yet. We get along really well and we train together every day. I'm just trying to help the team."
