Former Newcastle United striker and England international Alan Shearer has hailed Miguel Almiron as 'a real player' after his incredible display in yesterday's 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur.
The Paraguayan showed his skills as he netted the Magpies' second of the game after dancing past both Ryan Sessegnon and Clement Lenglet and slotted the ball under Hugo Lloris to find his fifth in five league games.
His goal followed up Callum Wilson's opener after 31 minutes when the striker and Lloris collided outside of the box before Wilson calmly floated the ball over him and into an open net - much to the chagrin of the Spurs players. who quickly surrounded the referee in protest.
