Newcastle legend Alan Shearer has already told black and white supporters Anthony Gordon will bring a 'fearless' attitude to St. James' Park. The Magpies have reportedly agreed a deal to bring the young English playmaker to St. James' Park.
The 21-year-old played a big part in keeping Everton in the Premier League last season and was linked with both Newcastle and Chelsea in the summer. Then Blues boss, Frank Lampard, put a block on Gordon leaving Merseyside in the previous transfer window, but now looks set to leave the Toffees.
Lampard's departure looks to have impacted proceedings, having previously told the Blues to build around the Everton academy prospect. Shearer was left impressed by Gordon's 'fearless attitude' for Everton last season.

“A young man that has been causing quite a bit of excitement is Anthony Gordon,” the former England captain told the Premier League’s YouTube channel.
“ Everton fans have really gotten behind the winger who has shown passion and plenty of ability in what has been a tough season for the Toffees. I’ve personally been impressed by his fearless attitude, he’s not afraid to get stuck in and he tries to make things happen going forward, putting plenty of crosses into the box.”
Gordon returned to Everton training earlier this week after missing three days, reportedly trying to force through a move away from Goodison Park. Incoming Blues boss, Sean Dyche has plans to meet with Gordon but a deal in the region of £45million has reportedly been agreed.
