Alan Dysert, best known for playing Sean Cudahy on the American soap opera All My Children , has died at the age of 75. Dysert passed away on October 23, 2026, his wife, Michele, confirmed in a social media post. The cause of death has not been disclosed.
Dysert had previously opened up about his health struggles in his 2023 autobiography, Lights, Camera, Cancer! , revealing that he had been diagnosed with a “rare, aggressive and incurable cancer.” His wife said he had faced significant health challenges over the years but continued to approach life with determination, humour and gratitude.
