Alan Carr will replace David Walliams as a judge on the upcoming series of Britain's Got Talent.
Mr Walliams reportedly quit the show following his leaked off-the-air derogatory comments against contestants of BGT in 2020. The Mirror reports his role will be filled by comedian Alan Carr.
It means Alan will be working with his good friend Amanda Holden, and not for the first time. The two currently star in Amanda Holden and Alan Carr's Italian Job, which sees them tasked with renovating dilapidated flats in the European nation.

Wales Online reports the project is helping Alan get over the breakdown of his marriage last year. During the first episode, Amanda said: "I want to give him a project that’s going to start with something in tatters, much like him, and at the end there’ll be this beautiful building.
"And Alan too, he’ll have a bit of a makeover, mentally. He’ll feel a little bit more optimistic and a bit more hopeful about the future, maybe.”
BGT bosses were said to have favoured a male comedian because Walliams’ constant banter with head judge Simon Cowell was a huge part of the appeal. It has now been confirmed that Alan will be the one to bring the banter to the new series.
Alan, 46, who is best known for his Channel 4 series Alan Carr: Chatty Man, was handed the role after the reality show’s bosses decided that he would be perfect alongside Simon Cowell, 63, Amanda Holden, 51, and Alesha Dixon, 44.
