Outspoken Alan Brazil believes Andy Walker is overdue a trip to the opticians but reckons he is the right man to replace Ally McCoist for the Viaplay Cup Final.
The Celtic fan couldn't resist a dig at Sky Sports regular Walker while jesting with his great Rangers pal. Brazil revealed he is in line for hospitality tickets for the Hampden showdown between Celtic and Rangers on February 26 and wanted to see if McCoist was keen to join him. But after he received a likely knock back, the former Ipswich hero was on the hunt for a potential replacement for McCoist. And that led to Walker receiving a couple of heavy jabs.
Speaking on his breakfast show, Brazil said: "How can that happen? There has got to be a neutral commentator, surely? Can we not get wee Andy Walker? He will level it up...for Rangers. He wants to pop down to Specsavers, he does." McCoist then joked does his Hoops mad find his commentary to favour the blue side of Glasgow and Brazil certainly didn't mince his words. He added: "Oh, jeezo, it's murder."
