After emerging as one of the top players in the country this season, Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe confirmed on Thursday the anticipated next steps of his football career.
Milroe, a redshirt sophomore, shared his intention to forgo the 2024 NFL draft and return for his senior season during an appearance on the Next Round Live podcast.
With Alabama’s College Football Playoff battle with Michigan looming, many Tide fans wondered whether the standout QB would remain in college or go pro. But, following Thursday’s announcement, the program and its fanbase now have, as co-host Lance Taylor put it, “an early Christmas gift” ahead of Christmas day.
