Ajax vs Liverpool prediction and odds ahead of Champions League clash

Liverpool will want to recover from yet another banana-skin moment in the Premier League as they look to secure a spot in the Champions League round of 16 with a result against Ajax. Jurgen Klopp's side need only a point to secure a spot as they go into this match six points ahead of their hosts.

The Reds are the favourites in this match at 10/11 with Betfred while Ajax are 11/4 and a draw is 3/1 in this Champions League tie. The Eredivisie champions have lost their last three Champions League matches against Liverpool and have only ever lost four-in-a-row against two teams in Europe - Juventus and Real Madrid.

For Ajax, a draw would be enough to secure a Europa League spot and ensure the Reds are through to the next round of UEFA's top club competition. They have picked up only four defeats this season in all competitions with three of them coming in the Champions League.
