AJ Brown has been instrumental to the Philadelphia Eagles’ rise from borderline playoff participant to Super Bowl contender. His 2022 arrival helped push Jalen Hurts from an average starting quarterback to an MVP candidate. It also unlocked a new level to his game, as he’s gone from Pro Bowl talent to All-Pro candidate in 1.5 seasons on the east coast.
On Sunday, with his Eagles in dire need of a spark trailing 14-3 toward the end of the first half, he put that top gear on full display. With Washington Commanders cornerback Benjamin St-Juste draped all over him, Brown created his own separation, turned and made a stellar, leaping one-handed catch and got both feet down in bounds for six important points.
