An air fryer fan has found a way to make "real deal" McDonald's McChicken burgers in her own home.
The foodie said that the replication tastes just like the fast food favourite. But, it's healthier and takes just minutes to make.
TikTok user @this_hungry_hun shared her recipe on the social media platform. Calling it a 'fakeaway' she showed that the recipe consists of just burger buns, chicken patties, lettuce, mayonnaise and a few herbs and spices.

She explained how to make the delicious food, as she said: "Blitz one large chicken breast along with one medium egg and a quarter teaspoon of salt. With wet hands, shape the chicken into patties to be slightly larger than the bun and around 1cm thick.
"Coat the patties in corn flour on both sides, then set to one side whilst you make the batter. Combine 40g of plain flour with 20g of corn flour, a grind of salt, one teaspoon of onion granules, one teaspoon of garlic granules, two teaspoons of English mustard, one egg and 80ml of water."
After coating the patties in the batter, she recommended to keep it in the freezer for one to two hours. Once it had cooled, she advised to avoid frying it in oil and use an air fryer instead.
The chicken patties should be cooked at 180C for 12 to 14 minutes while the bun should be toasted. She then put it all together, showing the burger fully dressed with lettuce and mayo.
Followers loved it with some already trying it. Helen said: "Tried them last night ..my god they were beautiful. Thanks for a great recipe."
Shan said: "Top work. Will try this soon." Another user added: "Tried it, tasted like the real deal."
