A study has been carried out amongst air fryers, microwaves, slow cookers and ovens to find out which one is the cheapest to run.
As part of its Money-Saving Monday series, consumer champions Which? found that appliances such as air fryers and microwaves can all have cheaper running costs than conventional ovens when cooking various food items.
Putting them all to the test, the experts found that you could be saving money by ditching the oven and using these other electrical appliances to prepare your food instead.
