Air Force One carrying Trump to Davos U-turns and heads back to base

Donald Trump’s plane, Air Force One, was forced to turn around and head back to base last night after what officials described as a “minor electrical issue”.

The US president was travelling to the World Economic Forum in Davos to meet with other world leaders amid rising political tensions over his attempts to acquire Greenland, when crew members detected a fault shortly after 9.30pm local time.
