Air ambulance were called after a major crash closed a busy road.
Cheshire Police were called to A550 Welsh Road in Ellesmere Port at around 10.45am on April 1 to reports of a crash. The road was closed by emergency services from B5463 Ledsham Road to A540 Parkgate Road.
Air ambulance attended the scene, but the condition of those involved is not clear at this stage. A spokesperson for Cheshire Police confirmed two vehicles were involved in the crash- A grey Mercedes Sprinter van and a brown Vauxhall Zafira.

Police also confirmed that highway services had been called out due to an oil spillage on the road, as well as debris. Ledsham Road remains closed from the junction with Sutton Hall Drive while emergency crews deal with the incident. Traffic headed for North Wales is currently being diverted back down Ledsham Road.
