Ireland star has shared a photo of herself celebrating with her adorable son after Ireland’s 1-0 victory over Scotland last night.
Amber Barrett’s second-half strike gave Ireland the lead and after a nervy final 25 minutes, The Girls in Green held on for the win and booked their place in next year's World Cup finals in New Zealand and Australia.
O’Gorman and her partner Rachel Neary had welcomed their son into the world less than three months ago. After last night’s win, baby James was the star of the show with Irish O’Gorman’s teammate Katie McCabe one of a number of players eager to say hello to the little guy.

Last night’s win was a special occasion for a number of reasons for O’Gorman. Making her first competitive start since November 2021, the Wicklow woman ran herself into the ground and was a thorn in the side of the Scottish defence throughout.
The Peamount attacker is one of the longest-serving members of the team. Having accumulated over 100 caps in an international career that started over 15 years ago, O’Gorman was a member of the side that came agonisingly close to qualifying for Euro 2009.
On that occasion, a frozen pitch among other factors conspired to break Irish hearts. There was no such devastation last night, only celebration when the referee blew the final whistle after 96 minutes of grueling action.
