Crystal Palace have joined English Premier League rivals West Ham United in trailing Aiden McGinlay.
The Partick Thistle youngster’s stock has risen rapidly and that has taken him on to the Eagles ’ radar. West Ham have already had him watched and plan to continue scouting him over the coming weeks as they look north of the border for young talent. The talented teenager has also been named in the Scotland squad today for the upcoming Victory Shield assault.
The left-sided player is attracting big interest as he closes in on signing his first professional contract. Thistle will hope to persuade McGinlay to sign professional forms but would be entitled to compensation if he was to move cross-border. McGinlay has been selected by Scotland under-16 boss Stuart Glennie for the games against Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and Wales. He is the latest young starlet to shine whilst playing in the Jags' successful youth academy.
