AI Supercomputer Predicts Newcastle Transfers

Christian Pulisic has been identified as a possible transfer target for Newcastle by our AI Supercomputer as the American looks to change his reputation in the UK.

The AC Milan star has rejuvenated his career during his time in Italy, after a disappointing spell at Chelsea where he contributed to just 45 goals in 145 appearances.

Pulisic is not the only Serie A player on the AI’s shortlist, with Denzel Dumfries also being selected – as well as a French duo of Lucas Chevalier and Ferland Mendy.

A move for a Premier League addition is also on the cards, as Brighton’s Simon Adingra could be set for a move to St James’ Park.

AI Supercomputer Picks Top 5 Transfer Targets For Newcastle

  1. Christian Pulisic (AC Milan)
  2. Denzel Dumfries (Inter)
  3. Lucas Chevalier (Lille)
  4. Ferland Mendy (Real Madrid)
  5. Simon Adingra (Brighton)

Christian Pulisic

In 2019, Chelsea signed the American winger for around £58 million after an impressive spell as a teenager at Borussia Dortmund.

Many expected Pulisic to become a superstar at Stamford Bridge, but the USMNT captain failed to deliver on a personal level – but managed to win a Champions League in 2021.

After a disappointing spell in the English capital, the 26-year-old moved to AC Milan in the 2023 summer window and is now one of the top wingers in Italy.

Newcastle’s attacking options could do with some improvement, as reliance falls upon Anthony Gordon and Harvey Barnes – making Pulisic an interesting option.

Denzel Dumfries

Kieran Trippier was one of the first signings after Newcastle’s takeover and the England international has been a consistent player in the Magpies squad.

However, the right-back has been linked with a move away in recent months and Eddie Howe may be looking to strengthen in that department.

Denzel Dumfries is regarded as one of the best full-backs in world football due to his performances for Inter and the Dutch national team.

Winning two Serie A titles and three Coppa Italia’s, the 28-year-old appears to be coming to his final stages at the San Siro and could be available for around £20m.

Lucas Chevalier

Nick Pope has struggled to find form since returning from his injury and the Magpies may be on the hunt for a young replacement.

Lucas Chevalier has been selected by the AI Supercomputer, as the 23-year-old continues to impress at Lille and looks to be ready for a Premier League move.

Coming through the ranks at the French side, Chevalier has made 98 appearances and won the Ligue 1 title during the 2020/21 season.

His contract expires in 2027 and the Frenchman could be available for around £30-40m in the upcoming transfer windows.

Ferland Mendy

The AI Supercomputer has gone for another full-back, as Real Madrid defender Ferland Mendy is the next player on this shortlist.

Since signing for Los Blancos in 2019 for around £40m, the 29-year-old has made over 180 appearances – winning three La Liga titles, two Champions Leagues and a host of domestic trophies.

Newcastle have utilised Dan Burn, Tino Livramento and Lewis Hall at left back but the AI believes they need to add another option on the left-hand side.

Simon Adingra

Finally we have Brighton star, Simon Adingra, who has caught the eye on the South Coast due to his performances in the Premier League at just 22-years-old.

In 50 appearances for the Seagulls, Adingra has contributed to 15 goals and is a prominent member for Brighton under Fabian Hurzeler.

A move for the Ivory Coast international could cost up to £50m, as the Seagulls are renowned for making huge profit on their star departures.
