Retailers are hitting Cyber Monday 2025 with deals and a surge of AI-powered shopping tools — all aimed at keeping budget-stretched consumers clicking throughout Black Friday weekend.
Why it matters: This year, the shopping holiday is less about "online-only deals" and more about AI-assisted gift-hunting — a shift experts say is transforming how shoppers discover products.
- "Consumers who are holiday shopping on Cyber Monday will be discovering products for others that sit outside of their normal shopping behavior," Mike O'Donnell, Flywheel senior vice president of innovation and business transformation, told Axios.
- "This discovery process, which historically may have started on Google or searching across retailer sites has now been disrupted by the onset of Generative AI tools like ChatGPT and Amazon's Rufus" O'Donnell said.

Amazon Cyber Monday 2025 deals
Amazon's Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday event started Nov. 20 and runs through Dec. 1, which is considered one of the retail giant's longest continuous holiday deals window.
- The e-commerce giant is leaning into an extended holiday shopping season as inflation-weary consumers look for early discounts.
- It has extended holiday returns through Jan. 31, 2026.
Best Buy Cyber Monday deals 2025
Best Buy has dubbed the sale its Cyber Sunday and Monday sale with up to 50% off items.
Kohl's Cyber Days deals 2025
Kohl's Cyber Days are back for two days — Sunday and Monday — and shoppers can earn $15 in Kohl's Cash for every $50 spent.
- The sale starts at 1:01am ET Sunday and deals will be available online and in stores, Kohl's said. There will also be discounts for Sephora at Kohl's.
- The retailer also is running the Kohl's Holiday Quest sweepstakes through Christmas, with daily prizes and a $100,000 grand prize.
Target Cyber Monday 2025 deals
Target is positioning this Cyber Monday as a tech-forward shopping event, layering new AI features on top of some of its deepest discounts of the season.
- The retailer says shoppers can now complete a full Target shopping experience directly in ChatGPT — turning holiday shopping into a "curated, conversational experience."
- The sale — with deals up to 60% off thousands of items — starts 3am ET Sunday, Nov. 30 and runs through Monday, Dec. 1 "exclusively on Target.com and in the Target app with select offers available in-store."
Walmart Cyber Monday 2025 deals
Walmart's Black Friday sale continues through Sunday in stores and online.
- Walmart+ members get early access to Cyber Monday deals beginning at 7pm ET Sunday, Nov. 30 for the online-only sale — five hours before the sale starts for all shoppers at 12:01am ET Monday, Dec. 1.
- Walmart previewed some of its Cyber Monday deals in a news release.
Target gift card sale returns
What's next: One of Target's most popular holiday deals, a rare gift card discount, returns for two days, Dec. 6-7.
- Get 10% off store gift card purchases up to $500 through its Target Circle loyalty program — for a maximum savings of $50.
- Exclusions apply and the offer is available on in-store and online.
Of note: Target told Axios that last year shoppers bought 6 million store gift cards during the deal last year.
