AHMEDABAD: Every death or serious injury of a child on the roads is devastating to the family, the community, school or college.
In 2019, when the Central Road Research Institute (CRRI) studied 1,374 accidents, it noted that the number of fatalities involving children younger than 18 years in Ahmedabad had increased from 17 in 2015 to 35 in 2019. The analysis led to call to revive traffic education parks in the city.
