Families who bought a bed rail to help an aging parent get in and out of bed may now need to remove it. On Oct. 1, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced that Agrish Direct is reannouncing and expanding its recall of adult portable bed rails to about 35,083 units.
About 5,000 of those rails were already covered by an earlier recall of Agrish bed rails in January 2026, which involved rails sold from April 2025 through October 2025. The expanded recall covers rails sold on Amazon.com from April 2025 through May 2026 for between $50 and $80.
