Children are being told to avoid a residential area in Hartcliffe where two 'aggressive' dogs are on the loose.
Police have issued a warning urging the public to call 999 if they see two large dogs roaming around The Groves in Hartcliffe.
Residents are being urged not to approach the dogs, and instead call 999 immediately, as officers 'deal with an incident.'

Avon and Somerset Police Control Room tweeted: "We're aware of reports regarding 2 large, aggressive dogs roaming loose in The Groves, Hartcliffe area.
"One is light brown speckled and is injured; the other is dark drown in colour. If sighted, do NOT approach and call 999 immediately, quoting log 344."
Avon and Somerset Police added: "Officers are currently dealing with an incident involving two aggressive dogs. As a precaution we advise unaccompanied children avoid the area at this time."
