After over 5 years in early access, Valheim 1.0 launches in September with its final biome update, Deep North

Valheim 1.0 finally has a release date, with its long awaited Deep North biome set to arrive in just two months' time.

Announced during today's PC Gaming Show, viking survival game Valheim 1.0 is set to leave early access on September 9. Considering that it first launched on PC back in early 2021, it's been a pretty long time coming, but that's also given it plenty of time to build up a dedicated fanbase. With over 255k reviews logged on Steam at the time of writing, with a Very Positive rating, I imagine more than a few people are going to be rather pleased about this.
