Bruno Guimaraes enhanced his fan favourite status at St James' Park with a stunning brace in Newcastle United's 5-1 thrashing of Brentford on Saturday.
The Brazilian international has been a leading force in Newcastle's new era under the new ownership since his arrival from Olympique Lyonnais in January.
Guimaraes has scored seven times in 23 Premier League matches for Newcastle and at this early stages is looking like one of the club's best signings in recent history.
With that in mind, ChronicleLive have launched a poll on the best midfielders ever to play for Newcastle.

The list features Newcastle heroes from before the commencement of the Premier League such as Joe Harvey, Tony Green and Paul Gascoigne.
Harvey captained Newcastle to successive FA Cup triumphs in 1951 and 1952 respectively, before serving 13 years as their manager. Green is a fabled figure, despite only playing 35 times for the Magpies, but his career was cut short by injury at the age of 26.
Gascoigne spent the first three years of his colourful career at Newcastle - winning the PFA Young Player of the Year in his final campaign. 'Gazza' would go onto become one of the most legendary yet most controversial figures in English football history.
Rob Lee, David Batty, Gary Speed and Yohan Cabaye complete the list along with Guimaraes. Lee scored 56 goals in 381 appearances for the Magpies, while Batty was a crucial cog in the system as Newcastle finished second in 1997.
The late Speed arrived from Everton in 1998 and would go onto play 285 games for the Magpies, including 39 times in Europe. Cabaye was Newcastle's midfield orchestrator for two-and-a-half years and helped guide them to a fifth-place finish in 2012.
