After 10 years of Pixels, why is Google still making phones?

Google Pixel 4, Pixel 10 and Pixel 3.

It’s kind of hard to believe that the Google Pixel 11 series is launching. Yes, it’s been 10 years since the introduction of the first Pixel phone, which was the first truly “made by Google” device. (Yes, there were Nexus phones before that, but that was through partners like HTC.)
