The Bath House in Hackney Wick is usually where east London creative types go for a well-priced sauna and a cold plunge. But this weekend it’s playing host to a rather different event, a “death symposium”.
The all-day conference will see “explorers, researchers, ritualists and futurists” discussing why we fear death and what we can learn from it. It is intended to be uplifting rather than morbid, even concluding with tribal music and dancing.
