NEW DELHI: Afghanistan's star batter Ibrahim Zadran made history by recording the highest individual score in ICC Champions Trophy history. The opener scored a stunning 177 off 146 balls against England in their Group B clash in Lahore on Wednesday, surpassing the previous record of 165 set by England’s Ben Duckett earlier in the same tournament.
Taking on a strong England bowling attack, Zadran dominated proceedings at a packed Gaddafi Stadium, scoring freely across the ground. His innings featured 12 boundaries and six towering sixes.
