After a few weeks off during the preseason, we are back taking a look at the Tennessee Titans’ division rivals, the Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars. And, with the season starting this week, this will be the final round-up until next offseason.
We start in Indianapolis, where the Colts continue to drag out the mess that is the situation with their star running back, Jonathan Taylor, who was not traded before Tuesday and will start the season on the PUP list.

The Colts were unable to trade their star running back and have instead kept him on the PUP list to open the season, which means he’ll be forced to miss the first four games. With this relationship badly damaged, it’s more likely Taylor gets traded at some point than ever playing another snap in Indy.

The Colts believe Taylor is over his ankle issue and is instead staging a hold-in as he looks to be traded. As a result, the team may end up suspending the star back down the road, Mike Chappell of Fox59 reported.

The Packers and Dolphins were the two teams most involved in trade talks for Taylor and both were willing to give him a deal that put him among the highest-paid running backs in the NFL, per CBS Sports’ Josina Anderson.
