Fares to New York costing from £179 are among the highlights of a January sale on transatlantic flights announced by Aer Lingus.
The Irish carrier recently began flying to the USA from its new hub in Manchester and it has cut fares on services to New York, Orlando and Barbados, for travel between February 1 and May 31, 2022.
Fares from Manchester to New York JFK are available from £179 each way when purchased as a return trip, with Orlando and Barbados tickets starting at £199 each way, also when purchased as a return.
Bill Byrne, Aer Lingus director of global sales, said: ‘’Without doubt, travel is back for 2022. Following the lifting of travel restrictions for double-vaccinated travellers, consumer confidence in travel is returning.
“Aer Lingus is delighted to offer amazing deals on our popular transatlantic routes. So, there’s never been a better time to plan a springtime getaway to the Caribbean or US.
“We are looking forward to extending a warm Aer Lingus welcome to new and returning customers this year.”
Following the recent relaxation of UK travel rules now is the perfect time to plan a long-overdue trip abroad with great value to be had with the sale continuing until January 31.
Aer Lingus introduced the new transatlantic services from Manchester last year as part of its ambitious route expansion plans. The new services marked the airline’s first non-stop transatlantic flights from the UK, in addition to those flown from Ireland.
