An airline is launching a flash sale from Manchester airport on flights to the USA in celebration of Independence Day. Aer Lingus is offering UK customers discounts on all transatlantic flights routes, with customers getting up to £100 off.
The sale is on direct routes and those connecting onwards from Dublin. Customers can get £50 off return economy class tickets and £100 off return business class tickets.
Although you need to act fast if you want to benefit from the offer - the tickets need to be purchased between now and July 7. They must be for travel between August 22 and December 31.

The offer is available on routes from Manchester Airport and 10 other UK airports. These are: Heathrow, Gatwick, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Leeds, Bradford, Newcastle, Exeter, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Cornwall and Newquay.
Those connecting onto North America via Aer Lingus’ Dublin hub can enjoy US Customs and Border Preclearance, enabling them to land in the US as a domestic customer. This speeds up the arrival process in the airport and means passengers can avoid lengthy immigration queues upon arrival.
Customers from Manchester can fly non-stop to New York and Orlando. You can also fly via Dublin to Boston, Toronto, New York, Chicago, Washington, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
