An Aer Lingus flight carrying Taoiseach Micheal Martin and dozens of other passengers to New York has had to turn back minutes into its journey.
Flight EI107 was headed for New York JFK airport and departed Dublin shortly after 5pm but was back less than an hour later after an issue with one of the engines.
Flight radar apps show the plane turned back over Ballina in Co Mayo.
Aer Lingus investigation crews are now assessing the plane before it is decided if the flight takes off again later today - the Irish Examiner reports.
The Taoiseach was scheduled to speak to world leaders including US President Joe Biden at the United Nations General Assembly.
