Aer Lingus Dublin bound flights from Spain and Portugal will operate this evening, but all of the airline's other European and UK flights to and from Ireland's capital are cancelled.
The airline said Dublin bound flights from Spain and Portugal "plan to operate, albeit with delays". Earlier this afternoon, they announced that all European and UK flights travelling to and from Dublin from 2pm onwards were cancelled.
Aer Lingus have said there is no estimated time that their IT issues affecting their website, check-in and boarding will be fixed. They said in an update this evening: "A UK network provider servicing the cloud-based system has experienced a major break in connectivity impacting both primary and secondary activity. At this time the provider has not been able to give Aer Lingus an estimate of the time when the break-in connectivity will be restored.
