Aer Lingus are hiring for cabin crew staff, with a major recruitment day taking place next month at Dublin Airport.
The airline is also set to host a cabin crew recruitment day on Saturday, November 5 onsite in the Training Academy in Dublin Airport to support their busy 2023 schedule. According to Aer Lingus, they are offering successful candidates very competitive terms and conditions, an attractive remuneration package, travel benefits and more.
All applicants for the cabin crew positions will be invited to completed a series of Online Assessments, and then successful applicants will be invited to attend the Cabin Crew Recruitment Open Day on November 5 to meet operations crews managers for interview and document collection.

Expectations of the Cabin Crew role
- You will be responsible for cabin safety and security on board the aircraft
- Carry out your duties in line with company policies/procedures and in accordance with the Aer Lingus Operations Manuals and regulatory requirement
- You will consistently deliver excellent service on board, so we retain and improve on our 4-star Airline Status* Skytrax Awarded
- To work as part of a team to continuously improve how we serve and meet our customer’s expectations on board
- Assume responsibility for consistently delivering our inflight retail experience whilst maximising sales revenue. You will be driven to achieve and exceed clearly defined sales targets, through effective on-board announcements, promoting our on-board ranges and executing appealing inflight merchandise displays
- Contribute in the delivery of ‘On time performance’
- Represent Aer Lingus with pride while adhering to uniform standards and guidelines
What to expect at initial interview and assessment?
At the recruitment open day in Dublin Airport, applicants will be required to provide copies of their passport, CV and 2 verifiable referee details. If you have cabin crew experience you will also need to provide copies of your Attestation and Aeronautical Medical examination as well as previous flying hours.
Essential requirements for the positions
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or over
- Eligible to live and work in the Republic of Ireland without restriction (i.e. EU Passport Holder or Non-EEA Citizen holding Stamp 4)
- 12 months combined experience in a face to face customer service/sales role
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- You will be required to complete a height and reach assessment based on our aircraft types as part of the recruitment process
- Hold a valid passport allowing unrestricted worldwide travel
- Be eligible to apply and obtain relevant immigration/entry visas required for role (for example for travel to/from the United States)
- No tattoos/piercing visible in the Aer Lingus uniform
- Flexibility and able to work shifts, unsociable hours, weekends, holidays and overnights
- Able to pass an airport security vetting procedure, including a five-year background check*
- Two verifiable references
- If you are a non-Irish citizen, you will need to be in possession of a current police disclosure certificate from your home country. If you have lived outside the Republic of Ireland for more than 6 months you will also be required to hold a current police disclosure certificate from that country/countries

Meanwhile, Aer Lingus has also announced this week that it will restart direct flights to Miami, Florida from Friday, 21 October, for the first time in two and a half years. The route will operate three times weekly, as part of the airline’s winter schedule.
To celebrate the Miami restart, Aer Lingus has also launched special fares on flights to North America – fly to Miami from €159 or fly or any other North American destination from €169.
