Aer Lingus Regional has announced two new services from its Belfast City Airport base which will begin next week.
Already servicing Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford, Glasgow, Exeter, and Manchester, Aer Lingus Regional will now operate Cardiff and Southampton routes from the city. They say the move will further reinforce its presence as the largest airline at the city centre airport.
The new flights will begin from Friday, July 7 and will be operated by the ATR72-600, the latest generation of turboprop aircraft combining "unmatched environmental and economic performance". The ultra-low fuel burn aircraft emit up to 40% less CO₂ on short, regional flights.
