Cash-strapped Universal Credit claimants and those who rely on other benefits have been given a ‘cost of living payment’ this month to help ease the pressure of soaring costs. However, the money hasn’t hit some people’s accounts yet.
The payments began rolling out to 8.4 million households on July 14, with almost all eligible households receiving the top up by July 31, the Government said.
However, if you’re one of the people on means-tested benefits yet to access the cash, you may need to take action, the Mirror reports.
