Chloe Lopez, a former receptionist who left Britain with just £100 and a rucksack after losing her job and home, is embarking on a new career in music at the age of 40.
Originally from Hertfordshire, Lopez moved to Spain after the Covid-19 pandemic upended her life. Having worked for a commercial property business for 15 years, she found herself unemployed and homeless, eventually spending her first night abroad sleeping on a beach.
